Came here for a Valentines meal with my partner last night. Very busy as expected so we were glad we had pre booked. Shown to our seat by a friendly member of the team who promptly took our drinks order. Oddly we were placed on a very large table meant for 8 instead of a table for two which did feel quite awkward as it was right in the main thoroughfare, so that was my main gripe! But not the end of the world.
Opted for the 3 course set menu, very good value for money. Food was absolutely fantastic and came out fresh and fast so no complaints there.
Overall a very good evening and meal and look forward to returning!

Always a good experience at the Glas Fryn. The food is always good, sometimes too much choice! There is always a good choice of craft beers and different wines. The service is good, and the only time we have ever had a problem with a dish, it was rectified very quickly.

We went to Glasfryn for a post funeral Wake and it was very good. Nice food, friendly service and a lovely setting on the hillside. I recommend it.

Another fantastic experience at the Glasfryn! The service was impeccable, and the food was outstanding as always. The black pudding starter was sensational—beautifully cooked and full of flavor. The shoulder of lamb was melt-in-the-mouth perfection, tender and falling off the bone. We also love the thought they've put into the kids' menu, with proper, smaller versions of the adult mains—so refreshing to see quality food offered for little ones. Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant!

This place has never disappointed in the 20 years weve been comming! Its a Christmas treat as we meet up from different parts of the North West, and go to the Panto. The food was available from both main and festive menues, but we all chose the pork in cider with dauphinoire potatoes and vegetables. The pork melted in your mouth, the sauce was tasty and potatoes creamy. We then had different desserts; I had bakewell with mincemeat and custard (gloriously decadent and creamy custard) the others had Black forest waffle, white chocolate ice cream, cherries and Kirsch and Dark chocolate and orange marmalade Arctic slice; all of which were demolished and pronounced "spectacular".
Service was efficient but a little slow, which suited us but we did hear others whinging! It was very busy and the staff were working as quickly as possible and were so lovely!
